1858/59 Mayor of Exeter.[1]

1861 Living at 7 Lower Summerlands, Exeter: Thomas Tanner (age 73 born Liskard), Retired Captain Royal India Navy and Magistrate. With his wife Bridget.[2]

1863 October 28th. Died at the residence of his son Doctor Mark Tanner, 3 St. George's Square, London. Of the H.M. Indian Navy age 75.[3]
