Born at Glasgow

1939 Died. 'The death his occurred of Mr. Thomas Taylor, aged 72, formerly works manager with the Wallsend Slipway and Engineering Co. Mr. Taylor, who retired a year ago, was in the service of the firm for 40 years. He had superintended the construction of the engines for many liners, including the Mauretania. He was a native of Glasgow.'[1]
