1885 Manager of Messrs James Gibb and Co, of Victoria Docks, Essex, chemical manufacturers. With Robert Moodie, engineer, also of James Gibb and Co, patented a novel form of separator

1891 Thomas Mumford 46, chemical engineer, was in Christchurch, with Harriett E Mumford 45, John B Mumford 13, Lillian M Mumford 10[3]

1891 died in Wanstead[4], age 47[5]
