37/41 Gracechurch Street, London (1926)

1923 - Formed to produce alginates from seaweed.

1927 - F C Thornley moved to San Diego to set up Thornley and Co.

1929 - The company became Kelp Products Corporation.

Eventually became Kelco Co.

In the 1920s they appear to be the first to produce pure calcium alginate as a commercial product.[1]
