1908 Wilfred Bertram Thorpe and the Syndicate gained patent on "Improvements in or relating to Electrolytic Devices suitable for use as or in the Construction of Switches, Circuit Makers and Breakers, and other Apparatus."

1913 Wilfred Bertram Thorpe and the Syndicate gained patent on "Improvements in or relating to electrolytic devices suitable for use as or in the construction of meters, switches and other apparatus."

1930 The Syndicate was in Liquidation; W. B. Thorpe was chairman.[1]
