From Graces Guide

1859 Mr. C. Lungley, built the Thunder at his shipyard at Deptford Green. She was a clipper screw steamship, built and fitted to carry opium between Calcutta and Hong Kong, displacing 1,062 tons; engines by J. and W. Dudgeon of Deptford; she reached a speed of 14 knots.
