1908 Lord Northcliffe, proprietor of the Daily Mail, acquired The Times. The Times Publishing Company Ltd. was formed in 1908 with Arthur Walter as Chairman.
1909 the company was announcing its dividends - presumably as a public company[1]

1962 Acquired C. Townsend Hook and Co
1967 Acquired by T. P. C. Holdings Ltd[2]. The Thomson Organisation then owned both The Times and the Sunday Times[3]
