1889 The company was incorporated to construct a railway authorised by the Tramways and Public Companies (Ireland) Act 1883.

1891-2 The amalgamation with the Balliniscarthy and Timoleague Junction (Light) Railway was effected. [1]

Became the Timoleague and Courtmacsherry Extension and Balliniscarthy and Timoleague Junction Light Railway

1925 Absorbed into the Great Southern Railways
