Torrance and Sons










Torrance and Sons of Bitton, near Bristol, manufacturers of High-class machinery for paint and colour grinding.
1881 Founded by Thomas Torrance and his eldest son J. R. Torrance. The business started off on a small scale occupying a building which was to become the foundry.
1884 Torrance and Sons became a Limited Liability Company. The directors were Thomas Torrance (Chairman) and his sons J. R. Torrance and H. N. Torrance.
1956 Company still in business.[1]
1969 Application for the trademark 'Microflow'.[2]
1978 Reportedly in business.
