WWII The company was largely engaged in construction of airfields

1946 Shares listed on the Stock Exchange[1]

1954 The Chairman and MD is W. G. Turriff.[2]

1960 HQ of the Turriff companies was at the new Turriff building on the Great West Road near Brentford.

c.1971 Main contractor for the second phase of the Barbican development in the City of London[3] but later in the year withdrew from the contract[4]

1972 Peter Wormald is appointed MD.[5]

1986 Founding chairman Charles Turriff retires and is replaced by Astley Whittall.[6]

1992 Turriff Construction Corporation and other companies in the Turriff group were put into liquidation[7]
