From Graces Guide
August 1935.
February 1954.

Twiglets are a snack food shaped like small twigs and flavoured with a substance similar to Marmite.

1929 Twiglets were introduced by Peek, Frean and Co in Bermondsey for Christmas.

2008 Twiglets are manufactured in Aintree by Jacob's Bakery, a subsidiary of United Biscuits. They are marketed in the United Kingdom and Australia, packaged in a 150 gram bag. They are also available in 25 and 45 gram bags and in 200g tubs. From the package: "a whole lot of crunch in a wholewheat munch", "entertain your senses!", "distinctive knobbly shape", "baked not fried".
