1966 "The directors of a newly constituted Willenhall company, UMEC-Boydell, are visiting Scandinavia soon in a drive planned to take its products into the chief European countries"[1]

1969 UMEC Boydell Ltd. employed some 80 people at Willenhall, making non-precision pressed bearings and small light pressings for various trades. The business is being reorganised and the product-mix rationalised.[2]
