1950 VAUXHALL WYVERN SALOON
Vauxhall cars enjoy a deserved popularity with the motoring public for their reliability, good looks and long-wearing qualities. Two models are at present in production, one being the four-cylinder Wyvern saloon shown above and the other the six-cylinder Velox. Both cars share the same bodywork, but there are small detail variations in the design of badges, hub caps and bumpers.
The Wyvern is in the family car class, being very economical to run and having a useful turn of speed. The standard colour schemes are black with bronze leather upholstery and, in metallichrome colours, grey with red, blue with silver grey and green with dark green.
Provision is made on both Wyvern and Velox for radio and heating equipment to be fitted as extras. They are positioned centrally on and below the facia, as shown in the photograph below.
