Vernon S. Brown

1922 Sq.-Ldr., R.A.F., Chief Tech. Officer, Instrument Design Establishment, R.A.F., Biggin Hill. Served as a Pilot in the R.F.C. during the War, later as an Experimental Pilot at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough, and at the Aeroplane Experimental Establishment, Martlesham; appointed in 1920 to the Tech. Dept. Air Ministry (Aeroplane Design Section ).
