1903 Obituary [1]

VINCENZO STEFANO BREDA died on January 3, 1903, at Poste di Brenta, at the age of eighty. He was a member of the Italian Senate, and the most eminent metallurgist in Italy. He founded the steelworks at Terni, near Rome, and devoted all his energies to bringing the works to the high degree of efficiency now exhibited by them.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1887.
