We regret to record the death of Mr. William Boughton Hack, for so many years the able engineer to the West Middlesex Water Works.

Mr. Hack first became connected with the West Middlesex Water Works Company in 1836, and in 1852 he succeeded Mr. William Tierney Clark in the position of engineer.

Mr. Hack died at his residence, Hammersmith, on the 8th inst., after a few days' illness. He was 69 years of age.
