1942 W. B. Nicolson (Scientific Instruments) Limited was registered, with capital of £10,000, to carry on the business of scientific instrument maker and laboratory furnisher, formerly carried on by William Holmes Nicolson, under the style of W. B. Nicolson, at Glasgow.[1]

1974 The company was dissolved.[2]
