Educated: Regent Street Polytechnic; Merchant Venturers' Coll.; Napiers; Wolseley at Crayford; Thornycroft; sea-going Engr., R.M.S.P.; in charge Research, Experimental and Test Depts., Straker Squire Cars; during war, attached R.N.A.S., experimental engine work.

1955 Managing Director, Kingston Hill Motor Works, Ltd., Kingston Hill, Surrey.

1960 Retired after ten years as Chairman of Godfrey's
