Articled to David Thomas as a Civil and Mining Engineer. Engineer to the Neath Rural District Council. Has carried out several sewerage schemes and water supplies, costing upwards of 9o,000, also has been engaged on mining, consisting of sinking operations, mechanical haulages, laying out of railways, etc., and the general working of coal mines.
