1870 William Edgcumbe Rendle gained a patent on glazing systems

1876 William Edgcumbe Rendle offered a patent glazing system for roofs (see advert)

1881 Dissolution of the Partnership between John Edgecumbe Rendle and Henry Ogilvie Bennett, under the style or firm of Rendle, Bennett, and Company, at No. 3, Westminster-chambers, Victoria-street, Westminster, in the business of Contractors for Glazed Structures in accordance with certain Patent Inventions[1].

1892 William Edgcumbe Rendle and Co was struck off the register of joint stock companies[2]

1905 W. Edgcumbe Rendle and Co, Glass Roofing Contractors, of 5 Victoria St[3]

Presumably later became W. E. Rendle and Co

1911 W. E. Rendle and Co were glazing contractors for the railways.[4]
