1871 William Corbitt, of Rotherham, was master iron founder employing 106 men and 64 boys[4]

1878 William Corbitt, stove grate manufacturer and managing director of William Corbitt and Co, died in Rotherham[5]

1881 William G. Skelton, of Ecclesall Bierlow, was a stove grate manufacturer employing 42 men, 8 boys, 3 women[6]
