Age: 38. 1926-27, first ship to shore short wave communication tests on behalf of Cunard Line, in conjunction with British Post Office, demonstrating the feasibility of world-wide communication with ships and opening up a new field of enterprise. Engineered R.M.S. Queen Mary Radio Installation in 1936, when first successful multiplex communication from a ship was carried out.
