W. J. Glover (c1883-1960)

1960 Died. 'Mr. Glover was a pioneer in introducing, in 1924, the first public electricity supply in Callington and Kelly Bray. He called his undertaking The Callington and District Electricity Supply Co. He was also one of the founders, in 1921, of the firm of Glover and Uglow. Ltd., haulage contractors, of Kelly Bray. In recent years he was a partner in the firm of W. J. Glover and Son, general engineers, of Kelly Bray. He retired from business two years ago. He died at the age of 77 years.'[1]
