William Wallace Fea (1906-1993)

Born the son of Herbert Reginald Fea, a Civil Engineer.

W. W. Fea, BA (Oxon), FCA, FBIM, was educated at Cheltenham and Brasenose, Oxford. He worked as Chief Accountant and as Secretary at Barrow Hematite Steel Co Ltd and joined GKN as an accountant in 1935. He was made Group Chief Accountant, joined the Board and was a Deputy Chairman, until he retired in 1972. He was a member of the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants from 1953 to 1971 and is a member of the Council of the British Institute of Management, a member of the Midland Regional Council of the CBI and of the Management Committee of the AA.
