1918 New private company incorporated to acquire:[1]

and to facilitate the production and sale of the Glasgow Tractor

1919 Negotiated the purchase of the National Projectile Factory at Cardonald

1919 December 31st. Acquired by Wallace (Glasgow), a new public company.

1920 Maker of the Burt petrol engine (see picture). Also see Glasgow Engine Co

1924 John Wallace and Sons became a private company and held its first annual general meeting[2]

1946 Public offer for sale of all of the shares in John Wallace and Sons[3]
