Wallace Henry Paull






Wallace Henry Paull (c1871-1936) was the owner of the Clipper Tyre Co.
1892 Moved to Birmingham.
He later joined Dunlop and was the Technical Director there.
1925 Patent registered by him for new and useful improvements to the Pneumatic Tyre. Patented March 24th 1925. #1,530,574.
1936 Obituary. Died aged 65. Rubber technologist. 30 years with the Dunlop companies and many years the technical director of the Dunlop Rubber Co. Primarily responsible for the standardisation of tyre sizes. When younger he was a long distance cyclist of eminence. [1]
