1938 The Wallacetown Engineering Company Limited was incorporated as a private company, with capital of £10,000, to acquire the business of mining, mechanical and electrical engineers carried on by William Malcolm Ritchie, engineer, under the name of The Wallacetown Engineering Company.[1]

1962 Acquired by Grampian Holdings.[2]

At some point was acquired by Tube Investments as part of the JV with GE of USA[3]

1979 GE took full control of the joint venture as it was more closely aligned with their business than TI's.[4]

2000 The company was dissolved.[5]
