1974 Business founded by the merger of a wall-covering distribution business and the country's leading manufacturer of textile wall coverings.

1975 Sauron Ltd changed its name to Textile Wallcoverings Ltd

1978 Acquired B. Brown (Holborn), a related business with complementary interests. A group of City institutions acquired a minority stake in the company. Nicholas Brown was chief executive and the major shareholder.[1]

1983 Name changed to Wallcoverings International Ltd

1987 Acquired by Walker Greenbank[2]
