Born at Castle Cary the son of Thomas Coles, a Chemist.

1901 Residing at 31 Black Boys Road, Exeter (age 40 born Castle Cary), Architect (unmarried). with his widowed mother Elizabeth and sister Caroline. [2]

1939 August 29th. Died at Plymouth.
