1896 Walter George Barnett, Gentleman, to be Second Lieutenant, Great Indian Peninsula Railway Volunteer Corps.[1]

1907 Married. 'The marriage took place this afternoon at Christ Church, Eaton, of Miss Elizabeth Susanna Sarah Thorold, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thorold of Eaton, Norwich, and Mr. Walter George Barnett, only son of the late Mr. G. A. Barnett of Bombay.'[2]
