1864 Born New South Wales the son of Major-General Frederick Fanning and His wife Sophia Taylor

1891 Living in Stoke-on-Trent with his wife and with his Father-in-Law John Stevenson, an Engineering Agent. Walter is a mechanical Engineer.[1]

1901 Living in Hoylake, Cheshire, with his wife five children and a Civil Engineer.[2]

1907 May 12th. Died in Liverpool. Consulting Engineer. Probate to his widow Mary Agnes.
