1881 A mechanical engineer, living in Woolwich with his brother Frank Kirk, a contractor[2]

1884 With Richard Charles Braithwaite started the firm of Braithwaite and Kirk in West Bromwich Works, manufacturing bridgework for the Home and Colonial Railways.

1893 Married Frances Ellen Mary Braithwaite, daughter of Richard Charles Braithwaite in West Bromwich[3]

1911 Walter Kirk 52, engineer and bridge builder, employer, lived in Solihull with his second wife, Lucy Kate Kirk 36[4]

1932 Died in Sussex
