  • Machinery for extruding clay products.
  • The machine in the photograph is thought to have been brought to New Zealand in 1862 by James Redfern, who started the brickworks in Paparoa. The extruder has been restored to full working order by volunteers at the Kauri Museum in Matakohe, New Zealand.
