1924 At the British Empire Exhibition, they exhibited accessories for textile machines made by firms they represent in London.
1979 Clare, the engineering side, manufacturers of the famous Claretainers and supermarket trolleys, were taken over by White. Child and Beney.[2] Clare were part of Clare, Son and Co.[3]
1979 Attempt too acquire them from Arthur Guiness who already have a stake in the business.[4]
