1964 Whitecroft (Lydney) Ltd was the second largest manufacturer of pins and safety pins; it was acquired by Scovill[2]

1965 Member of the Scovill Corporation of Waterbury, Connecticut[3]

1967 The Engineering Division was located in Chepstow[4]

1976 Newey Group acquired the manufacturing plant and goodwill of the hairgrip and hairpin ranges of Whitecroft Scovill, of Gloucester.[5]
