1916 James Peter Whitehead retired from the partnership with Bertram Sumner and John Harker; also the associated companies in Lisbon and Milan , at 16, Largo de Corpo Santo, Lisbon, and 223, Rua Sa da Bandeira, Oporto, in the Republic of Portugal, under the style of HARKER, SUMNER AND CO., and at 18, Via Moscova, Milan, in the Kingdom of Italy, under the style of PARKER, SUMNER AND CO.[1]
