Wick and Lybster Light Railway

Opened in 1903 this line was almost fourteen miles long. It was worked by the Highland Railway. [1]

1899 The company was incorporated under the Light Railways Act, 1896.

1903 The line was opened for traffic on July 1st. [2]

1923 Became part of London, Midland and Scottish Railway. [3]
