Wilfrid John Rippon (1916-1939)


1939/40 Obituary [1]

Wilfrid John Rippon was born in 1916, and received his technical education at University College, Nottingham.

He was apprenticed with the Nottingham City Transport Department, and in 1937 was appointed Engineering Assistant in the Department.

He died on 24th June, 1939, at the age of 22.

He was elected a Probationary Graduate of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1939.
