'... the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, John Butterworth, William Dickinson, and John Wilkinson, carrying on business together at Saunder Bank Foundry, Burnley, in the county of Lancaster, as Machinists and Ironfounders under the style or firm of Wilkinson and Company has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, s <> for as regards the said John Wilkinson; and that all debts will be paid and all monies received by the said John Butterworth and William Dickinson, by whom in future the said businesses will be carried on, under the style or firm of Butterworth and Dickinson...'[1]
