With his wife Helen Clayton (age 55 born Wavertree) and their six children; Emily Clayton (age 27 born Birkenhead); Charles Nole Clayton (age 36 born Tranmere), Naval Architecy; Marin Louisa Clayton (age 24 born Tranmere); Jessie Clayton (age 20 born Fairfield); Frederick Clayton (age 18 born Holyake, Ches.); and Alfred F. B. Clayton (age 15 born Claughton). Three servants.[1]

1893 February 10th. Died, of Bayswater, Mddx. probate to Frabcis Dodson Lowndes and John Merrett Wade.
