1836 Birth of William Blinkhorn in Bolton, son of William and Elizabeth Blinkhorn, chemical manufacturer[2]

1846 Establishment of London and Manchester Plate Glass Co at Sutton Oaks, presumably involving Blinkhorn.

1851 William Blinkhorn 49, glass manufacturer, lived in St Helens with Elizabeth Blinkhorn 48 and Maria Blinkhorn 21[3]

1865 Death of William Blinkhorn senior; William Blinkhorn, his son, a glass manufacturer, was one of the executors[4]
