WILLIAM COLLENSON ISLE, B.Sc. (Victoria), born at Horncastle in 1879, died on the 13th August, 1915, of wounds received in action.

On completing his training, he joined the staff of the British Westinghouse Company, Manchester, and subsequently was employed by the Sturtevant Engineering Company in London.

He joined the Army in October, and was in charge of the machine-gun section of the 7th Battalion South Staffordshire Regiment.

Mr. Isle was elected an Associate Member on the 7th February, 1905.
