1901 Residing at 44 Wostholme Road, Sheffield: William Edward Skinner (age 43 born Sheffield), Spiral Spring manufacturer (employer). with his wife Harriett, five daughters and son James Platt Skinner (age 11)[3]

1910 Died. 'The death occurred yesterday after a long illness, of Mr. William Edward Skinner, head of the firm of Messrs. J. P. Skinner and Company, spiral spring manufacturers, Sheffield. He died at his residence, 44 Wostenholm Road, Shardlow.[4]
