William George Player Brigstocke (1910-1940)

William George Player Brigstocke was born in 1910 and educated at Sherbome School and Manchester University.

He became associated with the Southern Vectis Omnibus Company in 1934 and later went to Ramsgate as Thanet Area Manager of the East Kent Road Car Company.

Since the outbreak of war he had served as Lieutenant in the R.N.V.R., and died on 4th July, 1940, of wounds sustained on active service.

He was elected a Graduate in 1934.
