1826 A white smith, at the baptism of his daughter Emma in Warwick[2]

1841 William Heaton 57, engineer, lived in Erdington with Ann Heaton 56, Emma Heaton 15[3]

1851 William Heaton 67, retired engineer, lived in Lichfield with Sarah Hunt 67[4]

1860 June. Death. 'On the 28th ult., suddenly, in his 77th year, William Heaton, Esq., of Lichfield, and late the firm of Heaton Brothers, Shadwell Street Mill, in this town: deeply and deservedly regretted.'[5]
