WILLIAM HENRY DYSON died on November 12, 1927, at the age of sixty-nine.

He had a lifelong association with the coal trade of Hull, and succeeded his father many years ago as head of the firm of W. Dyson & Son, Prince's Dock, Hull. He retired from the business about four or five years ago owing to ill-health.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1907.
