1944/45 Obituary [1]

William Holt was born in 1885 and trained in engineering in his father's business.

After gaining experience as a draughtsman with various firms he founded his own business to manufacture automobile electrical equipment of his own design.

At the time of his death he was Technical Director of Holt and Mosedale, Ltd., and eleven associated companies.

He died on 5th September, 1945, at the age of 60.

He was elected a Member in 1924.
