William John Willcox (c1839-1928), County Surveyor of Somerset; and of Willcox and Wilson

1928 Died. 'The death occurred on Saturday, at his residence, Hampton Hall, Bath, of Mr. William John Willcox, at the age of 89. Mr. Willcox, was formerly in practice in Bath, as an architect, being a member of the firm of Willcox and Wilson. He was for a long period the Surveyor for the County of Somerset, and Architect to the Somerset Standing Joint Committee. He was also a member of the Bath Volunteers. Mr. Willcox was a lover of music, and frequently attended the concerts the Rump Room.'[1]
