1809 Advert: 'IRON FOUNDERS. To LET, all that IRON FOUNDRY, situate in the Hill-Gate, in Stockport, in the county of Chester, and late in the possession or occupation of Wm. Kirby and Co. This foundry in full employ, and in perfect order and condition for working. Also, all that other Iron Foundry, situate at Shooter's Brook, in Manchester, in the county Lancaster, and late in the possession or occupation of Messrs Kirkby and Co.
N. B. The stock in trade, fixtures and utensils in both these foundries may be taken by any person who may become tenants, at a fair valuation.
