William Lister of Fenton, Murray and Wood, Financier involved with Matthew Murray

1795 Partnership established as a steam engine manufactory at Holbeck by Matthew Murray, James Fenton, David Wood, and William Lister to establish Fenton, Murray and Wood

1811 April 25th. Will. Described as an Ironfounder.

His older brother Samuel Lister died 1815 age 58 and is described as an engineer. Buried in Bramwell churchyard.
